AVI files are used to contain the audio and video data; these must be stored on CD in the ISO 9660 format. Typically, the audio will use the MP3 or Dolby Digital format. The MPEG-4 video must conform to ISO MPEG-4 Simple or Advanced Simple profile, without 1/4 pixel (QPEL) and global motion compensation (GMC). The advantage of MPEG-4 is that up to 2 hours of content may be stored on a single CD, at higher video quality than MPEG-2 offers. Users can now easily create their own MPEG-4 video content using MPEG-4 video codec. Xvid 2.10 and Sigma's RPM4(RealMagic MPEG4) also complies with the supported standard.

2. Make sure your cable completely plug in.
3. Some component cables have direction, one connecter to TV and another to DVD. Make sure you are using the right end to connect DVD player.

Using "VIDEO" button on the remote control. If you can not get any picture from DVI you can reset the video output. It will go though all video output terminals such as composite, s-video, component DVI, etc.., then go back to composite again. |

To set up DVI:
1) connect your HD devices to PC and adjust the best resolution with powerstrip.

2) Input the numbers in DVI customer setting To customize DVI setting :
(1) Navigate to video settings, DVI output, but do not hit enter.
(2) Press 9713 on the remote. The custom resolution menu comes up.
(3) Change settings to whatever you want.
